We started out doing emergency callouts when the bigger outfits wouldn't pick up the phone at night, and that's still the heart of what we do.

  • Do you charge a callout fee?
    We're upfront about charges before we set off — no hidden fees. For emergency callouts we work to a fixed first-hour rate wherever possible, and you'll always know the cost before any work begins. For planned jobs and quotes there's no charge to come and take a look.
  • How fast can you actually get to me?
    Our average response time is around an hour, and for genuine emergencies — no heat, a burst pipe, a gas smell — we prioritise getting an engineer to you as fast as we safely can, day or night. When you call we'll give you an honest ETA rather than a vague window, and keep you posted if anything changes.
  • What does "Gas Safe registered" mean?
    Gas Safe is the official register of engineers who are legally allowed to work on gas appliances in the UK — it replaced the old CORGI scheme. Every gas job we do is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer (our registration number is 512904), and you're welcome to check it on the Gas Safe Register. It's the law, and it keeps your home and family safe.
  • Are your prices really fixed?
    Yes. Once we've diagnosed the problem we give you a clear, fixed-price quote and we stick to it — you approve the price before we start. The only time it would change is if you ask us to take on extra work, and we'd quote that separately first. No nasty surprises when the job's done.
  • Which areas do you cover, and are you really 24/7?
    We cover Leicester and the surrounding areas — Oadby, Wigston, Birstall, Syston, Glenfield, Blaby, Enderby and nearby. Our emergency line is answered around the clock, 365 days a year, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Planned work is booked during normal hours.
  • Can you do landlord gas safety certificates?
    Yes — we issue CP12 landlord gas safety certificates and can set up annual reminders so you never miss a renewal. We'll check every gas appliance and flue in the property, flag anything that needs attention, and give you the certificate you need to stay compliant.
  • What warranty comes with a new boiler?
    It depends on the make and model, but we fit boilers with manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years when they're installed and registered correctly — which is exactly why proper commissioning matters. On top of that, all of our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months.
